The Kolinga group is back for the Mother’s Day with the title Mama. Led by the Congolese singer R\u00e9becca M’BOUNGOU, Kolinga unveils with this title the first extract of his future album that will be released on the Underdog Records label.<\/p>\n

The previous single Nguya Na Ngai was a tribute to Congolese women victims of the last civilian wars that had ravaged the country.<\/p>\n

With Mama, R\u00e9becca M’BOUNGOU returns with a tender title dedicated to all mothers and their role in society. Mama is a tribute to maternal love, to this force that every woman can find in her, to this unconditional love that she is able to give to her children.<\/p>\n

The animation clip was directed by Emma Cormarie (@eimqo). This new video of Kolinga illustrates the love song that R\u00e9becca M’BOUNGOU has composed for his mother. Like the title, it is both solar and deep, naive as the look of a child but also contrasted as the different stages of a life. The warm arms of Mama envelop us with sweetness, alleviate the heart, and give us fervor, promising us that we will never be alone.<\/p>\n
