In “Mogo”, Fatoumata Diawara sings about human relationships, those bonds that lift us, hurt us and help us grow. “Mogo” means “person” or “human” in Bambara, and the track gains full strength through the Malian singer’s deep voice, supported by hypnotic choral vocals. From “Massa” (June 2026), her most personal album, exploring motherhood, faith, memory and resilience, the song brings Mandinka tradition and silky pop production into conversation, composed and arranged with Matthieu Chedid (-M-). Fatoumata handles vocals and guitar, -M- plays guitars, bass and drums, and Joseph Chedid adds synths and percussion. The video is written and directed by Marcello Perego (Milkit Film Studio), with motion graphics by Riccardo Camin, and includes French and English subtitles to accompany the Bambara lyrics. An intimate, universal and deeply African sonic journey, best heard with an open heart! \u00a9 N\u00f8 F\u00f8rmat!<\/p>\n
