From a modest background, he possessed a natural talent for hard work to achieve his goals.<\/p>\n<p>A born and self-taught artist, Longkana took his first steps in music at a very young age. He learned to make musical instruments from recycled materials. Thanks to his rapid learning, his motto &#8220;In life, what doesn&#8217;t kill us makes us stronger,&#8221; his belief, and his talent as a performer, he made contacts in the music industry. He began performing in cabarets in Yaound\u00e9 and won the M\u00fctzig competition organized by the breweries of Cameroon.<\/p>\n<p>Already known to the public, he released his first album, \u201cAyo Africa,\u201d in 2001, which was a huge success both locally and internationally. His stage name, Le Lib\u00e9rateur (The Liberator), was born from this album. In 2003, he released his second album, \u201cPrivatisation\u201d (Privatization). Longu\u00e9 Longu\u00e9 is a source of inspiration for many with his songs drawn from his personal life and the abuses linked to neocolonialism and Western influence.<\/p>\n<p>As the saying goes, a shooting star cannot stop, but it can be slowed down. This was the case for Le Lib\u00e9rateur, who in 2005 experienced a turbulent period with legal troubles in France. Nevertheless, Longu\u00e9 Longu\u00e9 did not let this discourage him and attempted to win back his fans and maintain his fame with his third album, \u201cExamen de conscience\u201d (Examination of Conscience). In 2009, 2011, 2013, and 2015, he released his albums \u201cAbas Judas,\u201d \u201cChild of God,\u201d \u201cNe jugez Point,\u201d and \u201cAfrique unie, Monnaie unique,\u201d \u200b\u200brespectively, which met with somewhat less success.<\/p>\n<p>After this, Longkana went through some less glorious and difficult years in his career. In May 2017, President Djandjo gave him a fresh start through numerous concerts organized in the USA. The Liberator seized his opportunity and rekindled the hearts of his fans worldwide. He discovered other talents and passions, such as live streaming. Nicknamed the &#8220;Live Stream Man,&#8221; he holds the record for the most views over 12,000, also known as &#8220;Collectez-Vous!&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>His new album is already available\u2026 Here is the first video from his album titled &#8220;Ne Brulez pas mon pays&#8221; (Don&#8217;t Burn My Country).
