Vitale, whose real name is Bomisso Minin Nadège, is an Ivorian singer recognized as one of the leading female figures in coupé-décalé music, nicknamed “La Patronne” (The Boss) for her influence on the genre in Côte d’Ivoire. Originally from Yamoussoukro, she began her artistic career as a professional dancer alongside the renowned diva Aicha Koné between 2003 and 2005, then performed with the legendary Meiway and the Zo-Gang from 2005 to 2007, showcasing her talent on major national and international stages.
From a young age, Vitale cultivated a passion for dance and performing, which led her to work with icons of Ivorian music. In 2011, drawing on the experience gained from these mentors and eager to fully express herself, she launched her solo career, marking the beginning of a meteoric rise in the Ivorian music scene.
Her talent and perseverance have been rewarded with accolades befitting her popularity: Best Female Artist at the 2017 Coupé-Décalé Awards, Best Female Coupé-Décalé Artist at the PRIMUD Awards in 2018 and 2020, and Best Music Video at the 2021 Eucher TV Awards for the hit “Mon Bébé.” Also a recipient of the African Bloggers and Influencers Oscars in Paris in 2021, Vitale has established herself on the international scene while remaining a multidisciplinary artist, exploring Afro-zouk, raga style, and pop, and releasing popular singles such as “Sors la démarche” and “Goumin Goumin.”
