Directed and produced by Wanlov The Kubolor for Koool Kreol Ghana Video
Ghana’s Alostmen return with one of the big tracks from their ‘Kologo’ album, ‘Teach Me’, accompanied by a superb video by album producer Wanlov The Kubolor shot on Ghana’s Cape Coast. Featuring Ghana-based Nigerian vocalist Villy Odili (of Afro-fusion band Villy & The Extreme Volumes), ‘Teach Me’ reinvents the traditional music of the kologo (two-stringed lute). Lead singer Stevo Atambire tells how it is more reqarding in life to be a creator rather than just a consumer while Villy sings about acting too hastily and lacking focus in building a better world for ourselves. The ‘Kologo’ album is released on Strut on 29th January.
Track taken from the Alostmen album ‘Kologo’.
