This album, ‘Racines’, is a tribute to the great reggae classics that have been with me since my childhood (Tiken Jah Fakoly).
Recorded at Tuff Gong Studio in Kingston with Sly & Robbie, Mikey Chung, Robbie Lyn, and in Bamako for Mandingo instruments, this album bridges the gap between Jamaica and the African continent.
11 covers from Bob Marley to Burning Spear, from Peter Tosh to Buju Banton, and numerous guest appearances: U-Roy, Max Romeo, Ken Boothe, and Jah9.
