What if the love of your life were a 10,000 FCFA banknote? With “Marie Ngombè”, Andy Jemea makes all of Cameroon smile and think! Marie Ngombè is the Lady of the banknote: the one everyone chases, hopes for and waits for. The singer declares his love in song while asking the question every hard worker knows: why do others get showered with fortune, while I, who work hard, am left waiting? A clever, sincere and humorous love anthem that honors everyone who deserves their pay. Born in Douala, Andy Jemea is a singer, guitarist and songwriter, creator of “JemBlu”, a style that urbanizes traditional rhythms by blending afrobeat, R&B and makossa. Released in June 2026, this video invites you to look closer: “Looking is not seeing”. Those who see will understand! A beautiful Cameroonian gem to share.
