Once upon a time, there was a love story stronger than mountains… With “Nabalinda”, Ugandan star Eddy Kenzo teams up with Samuel Nalangira, a traditional musician and choreographer from Masaka, for a track released on July 29, 2026 on Big Talent Entertainment. The video draws on a tale from the Valley of a Thousand Trees: that of a stranger from another world who falls in love with the village girl Nabalinda. Refusing to force her to choose between love and family, he waits patiently, helps her village through hard times, and eventually earns her parents’ respect. Their wedding unites two peoples and builds a road between two worlds. Musically, you’ll enjoy a fusion of East African afro-pop and traditional acoustic textures, soft, warm and deeply moving. A tribute to patience, loyalty and sincere love, to share with every heart that knows how to wait. A musical gem, pan-African at heart!
