Mixed signals, confusing texts and a racing heart: welcome to the world of “Oh No”! Nigerian Afrobeats star Rema, from Benin City, reunites with Jamaican producer Rvssian, six years after “Beamer (Bad Boys)”, for a single blending afropop, dancehall and zouk-flavored rhythms. The song tells the story of a man completely under the spell of an unpredictable woman, never quite sure where he stands. Rema has shared that it was inspired by a real encounter with a woman who wasn’t ready to commit. Directed by Benji Allen and shot in Los Angeles’ Flower District, the video plays with flowers, bright yellow and dance, starring model Tavi Larai, with a vibe nodding to Haitian culture. A sunny, sensual visual to share with whoever makes you lose your head. © Mavin Global Holdings / Jonzing World Entertainment, Interscope Records.
