When Cameroon comes together around a message of faith and hope, you get “God No Be Man”! The first single from Sango Edi’s upcoming album brings him together with Stanley Enow, the famous “Bayangi Boy” from Bamenda, and the soulful voice of Bessem. A Pidgin-titled track with a solemn yet radiant energy, it speaks to everyone, believer or not. Musically, expect a blend of Afro groove and soul, carried by Joshua Memba’s keys and Marcien Oyono’s guitars. Sango Edi produced the song and co-wrote it with Dimodi Din and Stanley Enow, with beautiful backing vocals from a whole team of friends. The video is by Dr. Nkeng Stephens, mixed and mastered by Malaxer Group, and recorded at Campaign Street Studios. A true gem of the Cameroonian scene, best enjoyed with an open heart, then shared with anyone who needs a little light. © RETAMUSIC.
