BEWA: LiFkA, Cameroon’s rap Kamikazekage strikes again

Hailing from Northern Cameroon, LiFkA has become one of the most talked-about rising voices in Cameroonian rap (“237”), and “BEWA” is fresh proof of his growing impact. Taken from his mixtape “NON N’AIE PAS PEUR (NNPP),” the track carries the signature style of the young “Kamikazekage”: a sharp flow, bold urban energy, and lyrics written and performed by the artist himself. Direction, camerawork, editing and color grading are all handled by Chris Styvi, while mixing and mastering by Jaures DJ give the sound its punch, under production duo Wimeikit and RueJoss. Styling by Kevine Scott (Extrême Vêtements) rounds out LiFkA’s strong visual identity. This video confirms his rising momentum on the African hip-hop scene.
